By no means, Democracy in India is perfect. Indeed, quite far from it. For many of us, the most active participation in Democracy begins and ends with a vote once in 5 years. And contemporary Indian Politics seldom stand for people or principles. We can make it work or continue watching from side lines. We are from the country that is known as the largest living democracy of the world. That means, we (you and me and all others) elected those very Politicians that we are talking about. And are responsible for what it is. For who we voted. For why we voted. For we did not vote. Or for what we have done about it. I understand many of us share similar feelings. We represent a generation that is born and brought up in Independent India. We are the generation that is striving to make India, an Economic Power house of the world. Political system is our backbone. If we just give up, then practically there will be no independent India any more, leave alone Economic prosperity and prosperity to all.
